We face threats to our safety everyday – crime, medical emergencies, accidents, lost children and many other terrifying situations. The ability to communicate with unknown users closest to your location could be life saving. Unitehood provides a community safety platform that:
Makes an emergency call
Sends a push notification to all users up to 5km from your location
Sends a push notification or text to your selected friends
View the location of responders on your map
Communicate with all users connected to your alert through in-app messaging
Attach photos/videos to alerts stored on secured servers

By responding to someone else’s alert, you can possibly assist through the in-app messaging, being the ‘eyes and ears’ on the street or attending to the panic user with other responders if safe to do so.
